Petit Bordel Secondary School Receives Resources from Hodder Education

A set of educational resources targeting the improvement of literacy at the Petit Bordel Secondary School has been donated by Hodder Education, an international publishing company that creates print and digital resources. The contribution valued at just over EC$30,000.00 includes more than 500 books (fiction and non-fiction), 1 year subscription to a reading software, 1 laptop and 2 desktop computers expected soon, a set of computer speakers, a projector and a printer. Questelles Government School To Resume Classes on Tuesday November 12

As a precautionary measure, the Ministry of Education has made a decision to keep the Questelles Government School closed until Tuesday November 12 as a result of a potential health hazard. On Wednesday November 6, 2019; the Ministry of Education was informed of a rodent problem by the management of the Questelles Government School. Fully aware of the magnitude of this situation, an immediate decision was made to suspend classes at the school for the remainder of that week, in order to guard against the potential hazard and to allow the relevant authorities to intervene. SVG to host CANQATE conference in 2020

St. Vincent and the Grenadines will host the next annual conference and general meeting of the Caribbean Area Network for Quality Assurance in Tertiary Education (CANQATE) after the National Accreditation Board (NAB) of SVG formally accepted the invitation to host in 2020. Mountain View Adventist Academy Students Raise Funds for the Bahamas

Students of the Mountain View Adventist Academy on October 14, handed over a cheque of EC 1,658 dollars to president of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Seventh Day Adventist mission, Pastor Dermonth Baptiste. The cheque is to assist with the relief efforts of the local mission to the hurricane ravished Bahamas. On September 1 of this year, hurricane Dorian made landfall on Abaco islands as a category five hurricane.
